Catherine est détentrice d’un postdoctorat au STEAM lab et est affiliée au département de psychologie de l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Ayant obtenu son doctorat en Sciences neurologiques à l’Université de Montréal sous la supervision de Dre Sonia Lupien, elle s’intéresse à l’étude des marqueurs de vulnérabilité à l’anxiété chez l’enfant. Catherine a contribué à la mise en place d’un projet de recherche longitudinal sur ce sujet au sein du laboratoire. Elle explore plus précisément la manière dont la réactivité du système physiologique de stress, certaines fonctions cognitives et de traits de personnalité peuvent influencer l’évolution des symptômes anxieux chez l’enfant d’âge scolaire. Parallèlement à ses activités de recherche, Catherine a terminé un second doctorat en psychologie clinique dans le but de devenir une psychologue spécialisée dans le traitement des troubles anxieux chez les enfants.
